On this day I went back to reading patients files and organizing them. The idea was to get all the files in the back scanned. My goal of this day was to find out why keep files for so long. I found out that it is very important to keep the files for more than 7 years due to patients asking for them later on because of records, later damages that can relate, and because people want to make sure that that's what happened. As I read through the files it was astonishing what these patients went through.
